These rewireable fuses units are made from special ceramic material having fine grain homogenous non-porous chemically insert imparting high mechanical strength with smoothly glazed surface which is cream in colour.
Fuse carrier contacts which carrier the current in kitkat fuse are made from copper conductor conforming to IS :1897.
Kit kat fuse is provided with a handle or grip and is shaped in acceptable manner so that it will be easy to withdraw the carrier without use of any tools and without danger to any technician or operator.
